Linda, born in Austin, Texas, is co-founder, together with her husband, Dario, of Nature Geek Squad. She has been living in Mexico since 2008, working as a tour guide, translator, English teacher and traveling throughout Central and South America. She works on the media and tour experience creation for NGS, with the goal to encourage people to discover, appreciate and take care of Latin American culture and nature. Linda speaks English, Spanish and basic German.

Daniel, is the founder of meinmexiko.com, our German partner tour company in the Yucatan Peninsula and throughout Mexico. He also owns a restaurant in Veracruz and is a partner of Nature Tours Mexico by Nature Geek Squad. Daniel has an eye for nature and his main interest is to bring travelers to Mexico, creating incredible experiences for them to explore and enjoy the country’s culture, nature, and culinary diversity. Daniel is Mexican and speaks Spanish, English and German.

José, born in Mexico, is a passionate tour guide, treasure hunter and dog rescuer. Other hobbies include hiking in the jungle, snorkeling in the coral barrier reef, diving for lost items in cenotes and helping any creature in trouble. He can fix pretty much anything and is an expert snorkel guide, making him a perfect, invaluable fit for our team.

Lea has been living in the Mexican Caribbean for more than 10 years. She was born in Germany and speaks German, Spanish, English and French. As an expert in this region, and especially the Sian Ka’an Region, where lived for 3 years, Lea is one of our associates, expert nature guide and an advocate for sustainability, leading and participating in local environmental projects.

Our story began in 2006 when our founders, a couple passionate about wildlife and the great outdoors, first visited the Riviera Maya as part of a Coral and Fish research project. They fell in love with the area and decided to move there, working as tour guides and sharing their love for adventure, culture, and nature tourism with others.
In 2013, they decided to travel through South America and live as digital nomads, but realized they wanted to help others experience the world in the same way. They started their own tour business, creating unforgettable experiences for visitors to the area. Over the years, they have gained experience and knowledge of the area, and expanded their network of people and companies in the tourism industry all over Mexico.
