Overview

The first time I visited Sian Ka’an was in 2006. I was amazed by the panoramic views of the beaches, the mangroves and the lagoons. I love Sian Ka’an.

On this tour, one of our drivers will pick you up in an air-conditioned transportation, where one of our multilingual guides accompanies you. You will be driven to the Biosphere Reserve where you will board a small boat for six people at a beautiful lagoon.

This boat travels from there, between mangrove channels and more lagoons. If lucky, you might spot birds, stingrays, crocodiles and other fauna along the way. The boat arrives at the outlet of the lagoons, where they meet the ocean. Islands and Caribbean colors make this area spectacular. (Depending on the starting point, sometimes we change to a new boat) We start looking for turtles and dolphins. Enjoy observing these unique animals in the wild. Time for a swim. The captain will attach the boat to a buoy by the coral barrier reef and whoever wants to can snorkel with the guide.

The adventure continues. Now, after getting back on the boat, the incredible natural pool of Punta Allen awaits the group. The crystal clear water and warm temperature is therapeutic.

At last, lunch time. Enjoy sharing a moment in a restaurant at the fishermen village in Punta Allen. From there, a walk through town is a good way to see how the folks live in this hidden place. After lunch, your captain will be waiting for you in his boat to head back.

Keep a lookout for more wildlife, you never know what could cross our path, Sian Ka’an is full of surprises, unless you need a siesta on the boat ride home, which can be awesome too.
